Why use drugs?
happiness should be spread through hugs,
as he shrugs,
this argument tugs
here to there,
is the answer anywhere?
the danger we beware,
yet cant stand to stare,
from the happiness spread,
its all in ur head
no need to be dead
if you can keep urself steady,
whether ur ready,
or not.
do we need these substances?
or are most of us chinces?
too lazy too see the truth
behind what IS our youth,
like a loose tooth,
we hate the down,
but after, what is found?
who knows? most of us drown.
in our self pride,
nothing to hide inside,
i say enjoy the ride,
of life and confide,
in the ones you trust,
i see it as a must,
or you will find it harder to have lust,
through the thick dust,
the barrier in between,
that can barely be seen,
tho we kno its there,
does anyone really care?
the ones like me,
the ones who can see
the ones who feel free
the ones who enjoy a nap below this tree
understand the complicity,
of everything around,
is just too hard to believe,
everything connects,
even things that seem deflects
from insects
to rhinos
to albinos
its all in one
and one in all.
so again
why use these drugs?
dont most drugs promote hugs?
