Who is sick of tv reality shows ?

Because I fucking am..... the only one Im waiting for is "Who wants to be a porn star", which was meant to be coming to foxtel.
 
nah, they sucked from the start. tbh, i'm just pissed with people in general - they're the ones who make this shit popular in the first place.

i might not be a jaded with raving or pills, but i'm jaded with life :\
 
I find in situations like this that a remote control comes in very handy. That way, when a reality show comes on, you can watch something else. :)
 
well yeah, that too. but that said i don't really watch tv at all, aside from the occasional special event and some football during the afl season.
 
Yeah, good advice... but they are on all the stations now (not ABC)....also spread onto Foxtel now.....RSI from remote imminent! Believe me, the invasion will continue. BB has a lot to answer for.:|
 
^^^ nope, like i said, stupid fucking people have a lot to answer for - the tv stations don't make shows just for the hell of it. but hey, most of the stuff is on television *is* just mindless entertainment anyway, and there are worse things around than reality television. what i find most disturbing is the ability of the public to make these inherently normal people into celebrities for no greater reason than their appearance on said idiot box. but hey, who am i to argue with the peons ;)
 
The key is getting rid of your television. (Like Me)

I still love watching sport, so I'm always at the pub watching on the big screen. But yeah, no TV rocks...more BlueLight, drugs and other cool stuff..

TV really is a drain on the motivation of society.
 
yeah,,, I know / agree, just shits me. I just dont understand how some get so captivated by mindless rubbish. Like, watch it occasinaly, ok..... but its everywhere..... oh well, if it makes some happy good luck to them. *breathe*, ok, better now. Sorry for the whinge, out of the system now. Rolling 8(

No way!!!! I am so waiting for Survivor Allstars ;) If this makes me sad and pathetic, I don't care!!! bring on the new survivor action :)

Also there is a new show starting on 7 this year: Average Joe, I'm sure you've seen the ads on 7 so far, but if you haven't the idea is that they get this ultra hot chick who says she is looking for a man, and doesn't care about looks, so they get 16 fat, ugly, geeky men to battle it out for her. If nothing else this will be hilarious to watch for at least the first episode :)

Bring on the Reality I say ;)

There should be some sort of compulsory high school subject that teaches students that Britney Spears, Reality TV shows and the latest fashion are all fucking evil and are leading to the downfall of society.

Yeah TV sucks in general, but which ones suck the least.... hmmmm

My fav's

SPORT: AFL, CRICKET, SOCCER, lawn bowls
SITCOMS: SIENFELD!, SIMPSONS, SOPRANOS
REALITY: FIRST EPISODES IN US/AUSSIE IDOL (watching wannabes LOL),TRAUMA-life in the ER, POLICE CHASES( where the bad guys get away!)

RESPECT!
 
i agre with all of u reality tv sucks. its all well and good to say change the channel but wat if its on every channel?

i reckon that paris hilton show will suck 2 but itll still get high ratings coz guys luv to perve.

Maybe a nice documentary on how the people of East Timor are rebuilding their country after 25 years of oppression.
 
They're really flogging a dead horse with these reality shows.Theres a shit load of new ones coming out this year that sound absolutely fucking stupid.Theres one where you start a restaurant from scratch,one where you start a holiday resort from scratch theres even one where you build a bloody house.Enough with the reality shows please.
 
I'm sick of tv fullstop let alone with the reality shows. But i have heard they have been coming out hard and fast and seem to be multiplying rapidly....people will watch anything these days :\

I gave up tv about two years ago because i actually was addicted to it but it was a bad point in my life and it seemed to fill the void. Have felt so much better since. Do alot more stuff for myself. Think my own thoughts and am not getting sucked in by all the marketing it's producing. It's getting really bad. Or maybe it always was and i was just blind to it...i dunno :p

tv sux...seriously do something else with your time hey...like ummm post on forums :p ;)
