Who do you apparently look like?

So I am sure most of us get random, or even friends and family who come and tell us that we look just like a particular celebrity. Whether it's a good or bad thing, I find it rather annoying. And I am sure I am not alone with that...

So who do I get... I have always since a teenager been told I look the the Nanny. Fran Drescher. I know, suuuuuuuuch a complement8)

And also I get Casey Chambers a lot too. Usually by dedicated fans of hers ... and they tell me like it's such a good thing! That I should feel really happy and proud after being told such a thing...

Well I don't! In fact, I absolutely hate being told I look like either one of them - Casey Chambers more so though. I find her very unattractive and just down right annoying. I know they are not saying I have her personality or anything, but there is something about her face that pisses me off. UGH!! And to say I look like her is an insult as far as I am concerned. I swear it is because of the lip piercing. But I will have everyone know that I had that way before she ever made it big.

So who do you get told you look like? Does it piss you off or do you take it as a real complement?

(if this has already been done I DON'T CARE!) ;)
 
people have said i have eyebrows like the Wolf guy from pulp fiction and that i have a beard like craig david

it doesn't really bother me though
 
People tell me a lot that I look like Anna Paquin. I can see the resemblance and take it as a compliment :D

The best look-alike compliment i've EVER received was being told that i resemble Salma Hayek :D. I don't really think so, aside from the body-shape and hair, but it was lovely nonetheless.

The first time i met my new boss, she said that i looked like one of the female trainers off "the biggest loser". Not the american one, the other woman. I don't see it.

One of Mr S's friends told me that he thought i looked like the singer, Michelle Branch - again, i don't see it, he said it was our eyes...

More often, i've been told that i look like a woman who lives somewhere on the gold coast - Mr Samadhi, while working down there, saw a girl that he thought was me, he even started walking towards her to ask what i was doing down there! I've had 3 other people ask me if i was down at Surfers Paradise at certain times, when i haven't been.

A friend also thought she saw me in a porn magazine - she was that sure, she pulled me aside and asked me quietly, so as not to embarass me. She showed me the photo and it looked alot like me (but wasn't ;))

Anna: I can definitely see the resemblence to Anna Paquin - espeically in "Almost Famous". Definitely a compliment.

I get "a brunette Kate Hudson".

I can sorta-sorta see it, but only when I'm skinny because my face is much chubbier than hers. I think Kate's adorable so I am very flattered by the comparison :)

DFRS is value adder number 1 around here IMO. This place would be dead if she was not so prolific. Plus, something tells me that not all of her great ideas actually see the light of day ;)

Anyways, not so much these days, but in his playing days I would get Brad Fitler all the time.

Probably means nothing to those of you not from NSW or QLD but I had randoms coming up to me and yelling 'FREDDY!' in my face

One time after I didn't shower for likr 4 days my friends started calling me stinky Dilbert.. so I guess I look like the dilbert comic character.. after 4 days of not showering and without a job.. haha.
