Does it potentiate clonazepam or not? Wikipedia has conflicting information. It says it is a strong inhibitor of CYP2C19 enzyine, which would inhibit metabolism of clonazepam, but then also says benzos metabolized by nitro reduction are uneffected by luvox (although the citation for that is missing). I've taken them together and I really can't feel much of a difference as far as potentiation. but coadministration of these 2 drugs seems to be contraindicated on most websites ive looked at.

This is grey-area. Fluvoxamine is a good SSRI for OCD, but also, as other SSRIs, it has antidepressant and anxiolytic effects in general.

Klonopin is an anxiolytic. I believe it's approved for panic disorder and GAD. IT works differently from SSRIs. It works to increase the binding of GABA to it's receptor in a manner to make it safe when used without any other depressants.

No contraindiction as far as I'm aware.

That question about potentiation and enzymes is something to ask the doctor.
