What's the Greek Orthodox church Holy Unction

What sickness does the Greek Orthodox church sacrament the Holy Unction cure?

does it have something to do with AIDS and a man who has red hair?

It doesn't cure any disease.
It is given to those who are about to die to prepare them for their death as well as a chance to make a final confession. The belief is that it removes any last traces of sins that the dying person may have committed.

I've had the Catholic Church version at age 21 when it looked like drugs would kill me. Was kind of thought-provoking at the time. Called Extreme Unction for Catholics I think.
 
I'm not sure what this thread is asking. But it seems like it'd be more at home in P&S than here. I'm gonna move it over and see how it does there.
