What is used to reflux a solution?

If one was to have a large quantity of morphine and wanted to make hydromorphone using some expensive stuff, what would be the best piece of chemistry equipment to reflux the solution of both? I know it's very simple to make hydromorphone from morphine.

I'm sorry, we don't discuss synthesis, and unfortunately if you cannot figure what equipment you'd use to reflux something, you should not be attempting this...

By the way, that route is not as effective as the patents would lead you to believe, and sourcing & handling that catalyst is a serious problem. Expensive and messy and almost impossible to recover. Not something you can do at home.
