Misc What is the dosage range for L-Theanine?

I just got some L-Theanine powder and was wondering what a good dosage is and how people usually measure their dosages?

Can you take it by the tea spoon?

I tried it once, I forget what dosage but they were capsules and it wasn't enough so I want to try a larger dose this time.
 
50-600mg its really mild, effects top out around 300-400mg for me

So what would you recommend as a starting dose when I tried it before in the past and didn't feel anything? (not sure what the dose was but they were capsules)

And are there any negative side effects to taking too much?

I'm guessing it's the kind of thing you can't exactly OD on...
 
Most people seem to take 200-400mg. I don't feel anything at all from it myself, even at 800mg though.
