this weeks flavor, napalm.
soothe your burns,
cuz it yearns to defeat.
too late to retreat,
you must fight back

slipping as u turn,
the pain begins to burn.
when will you learn
to watch your back.
a skill you tend to lack,
as they continue the attack.

bear your sheild,
head for the feild.
dont think to yeild,
for they snipe you down.
no sound but suffering.
enough to ring a bell.

you get up and shoot,
destroyed all the loot.
lives taken with yours,
cuz u knew it was done.
tho it was fun,
they all had their guns.

it was right there signed.
eye for an eye,
makes the world go blind.
but who dares risk their sight?
especially in this modern night.

covered up all truth,
directly from youth.
lied to about heroes,
dreams of the greater.
later tell them, your in control..
you practically own our soul.

I liked this very much, especially the way the images and the simple rhyme seemed to echo the last verse that this heriosm is all but a lie.
