Can i take my 500mg valproate pill now? That dose is meant for morning. Its 2:00AM here. I have bad anxiety right now so im thinking about taking that valproate pill.

Xanax and Depakote are both GABAergic, but otherwise are different. Xanax is an anxiety medication, and Depakote is a mood-stabilizer (mostly for mania).
Valproic acid has a narrow theraputic/toxic window thats why you need blood work. Therefore, taking more than prescribed i doubt would be effective and possibly harmful. If you need more of a dose if ask your doctor they can up it and do blood work till you reach the right level without side effects.
