I read an article which states that Tramadol is metabolized to the M1 metabolite (o-desmethyl-tramadol) by CYP2D6 while N-demethylation to M2 is caused by CYP2B6 and CYP3A4. So if you would inhibit Cyp3a4, for example with grape fruit or schisandra (btw. schisandra not only inhibits but deactivates the enzyme, if used with some Benzos it can cause up to 200% higher blood levels) could there be a higher metabolization to M1?

It's not likely, the metabolism to desmethyl-tramadol isn't limited because other enzymes eat tramadol faster.
