Film The Neon Demon

according to wikipedia, this film is starring elle fanning (and no one else). it's directed by the same guy who directed Drive, which i thought was a fun and distinctive movie. this has me looking forward to The Neon Demon. i see that it has keanu reeves in it; that makes me a little nervous. i hope wiki is right and his character is secondary to elle's. i'm trying to learn as little about it before getting to see it, but i've picked up that is a horror and that it's based off of something like a book or graphic novel that already has a cult following. the promo art and stills i've seen so far make me think of Perfect Blue.

it also has Donnie Darko's jena malone and is giving model abbey lee kershaw an opportunity to continue her acting career. i don't see a release date. it was recently acquired by amazon studios. fuck amazon, but i'll still buy a ticket.

oh man, i had forgotten about this. nice bump. will be screening in competition at cannes.

the film will include elle fanning in a dress, which is exactly what i look for in a film.
