Misc The most damaging drugs over time

Death is the road to awe.

You should watch this movie if you haven't seen it. It's great.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look it out. I’m admittedly very green, sheltered the wider world of films, music, books, etc etc.

I’ve always been very much a deep inner man, deeply philosophical and kind of detached from the times.

I do wish to acquire a range of non mainstream movies. @Shadow Cat recently put one on my radar. I like a collection of most things, before I get my teeth stuck into any of it, a lot of the time.

Thanks hope your week is going well.

Actually, ALL OF A SUDDEN, I’ve felt a lot lot better at last.
I discovered, realised last night- I’ve been Permanently constipated for about six months since virus is really messed up my bowels and diverticulitis etc.

Last night for the first time it was like a drain that’s been plugged was suddenly freed.

I’m all of a sudden much more hopeful about being able to make good progress at resting healing and recovery now after a truly to Mencius time healthwise as a result of the bowel issues.

They have long said and rightly so two different sayings- All disease Begins in the colon.

And...Death begins in the colon.

Sorry I’m not trying to be morbid just making a point about how absolutely vital it is to health and well-being to maintain healthy function of the digestive and elimination tract.

Fingers crossed on the way up now.

I really think you would enjoy The Fountain.

It's a meditation on the fear of death, and life, the desire for immortality.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time and I've seen quite a few.

The movie takes place in present day, 500 years ago and 500(??) years in the future revolving around the same character(s), death, their fear of death. It's a masterpiece of film.

1500 (Old Christianity, the pursuit and fable of immortality of the tree of life) - written from the perspective of the main characters
2000 (Present day search for medicine's search for immortality, cure from death) - the main story/characters
2500 (?? date unclear, but far in the future, very metaphysical and symbolic, the main character FINALLY comes to term and accepts death) - This part is more open to interpretation. It's either the main character somehow travelling through space with the tree of life or some other symbol for a soul, attempting to achieve immortality, progressing through time

You really really need to watch it man. I've seen it about 5 times and twice on LSD :) It's such a visually stunning movie too

PM me I can send you a link to watch it in HD

MDMA is an interesting example, most people know it's relatively safe when used somewhat responsibly.
Now you, my comrade here with who else I have so always enjoyed a banter, IMO, know your drugs very well.

MDMA is indeed interesting. It doesn’t have to be destructive, despite The fact That we cannot question it’s damaging effect on the brain which I always like to see in some philosophical light as alteration effectively.

But honestly on my life despite boring you all again with the actually quite accurate figure of about 3500 ecstasy pills taken between 1996 and 2005, I was in no way retarded and incapable by that stage and to this day I do not consider my MDMA abuse to have really taken anything away from me that I regret consciously.

I’m not denying that I did not inflict grievous harm upon my brain literally brain damage at times and I do believe a few cases of serotonin syndrome, Purely from extraordinarily high doses of MDMA for days on end with lots of LSD as well and sometimes some impurities in the MDMA like the DXM possibly.

But I always brushed that aside so easily somehow and in time there appeared to be healing.

Also my commitment to MDMA usage for largely spiritual and developmental purposes honestly I feel served me for exactly what I was looking for and who I am.

So I guess I just accept the rough with the smooth.

So to me It has felt rather strange last few years hearing so many accounts of people so mentally distraught with self-proclaimed long-term comedowns from literally one or two moderate uses of MDMA.

Like I said already, pushing the boat out equivocally with pure LSD is very different.

Thanks very much. Ideally, I like a DVD where possible and not exorbitant.

I use a tablet otherwise, and much prefer a DVD. Now my stupid TV would fix that. It’s internet capable. It “sees” the WiFi....but won’t connect.

That would be ideal otherwise. I may seek some advice on it.

Things are happening pretty slowly atm. Ever so wasted from so much LSD of late but I can really see some good opportunities coming forward to start getting back to simply relaxing more and enjoying life.

stating the obvious, but you could really do without starting to take fkin meth at your age and with those health conditions my man
Well going on a destructive behavior because of the wife bullshit and sick of body pain got worse obviously. Using meth and everything else fucked me up. Gastritis, vascular necrosis is way worse, still chest pain and all the other definitely worse. I still taper off alcohol, no meth 2 day's no withdrawal yet, but still snorting hydrocodone because swallowing them will make gastritis worse. Got to the point that I was ready to die. I'm bp without meds because that made my depression worse. So anyway instead of whining mixing all three definitely f u my body bad so anyone wanting to try this mixing everything like I did on top of depression think about it and at my age range read my story it's not worth it. Had a lot of specialist before well just added 2 more. My trips to the ER made me feel better knowing what was wrong, but the doctor finding more medical problems in my hip is a pain that's worse pain than my back.

Brain damage is kinda relative, people rarely end up with severe mental deficiencies, most drugs don't really cause that kind of brain damage on their own. Overdoses are different because the worst ones usually involve hypoxia, strokes, seizures, severe hyperthermia, etc... All of these things can really mess with the brain, they will literally kill a lot of cells and promote chronic inflammation (a bit like tramuatic brain injuries). But then again, there are many examples of people living pretty normal lives even after the most extreme scenarios. Time is a great healer.

The thing about new "ecstacy" users and long-term comedowns is interesting. Some people are clearly much more susceptible to side effects from MDMA, don't know whether it's some kind of genetic predisposition or just good old bad luck.
Also, many of those cases involve bad pills/powders/crystals that likely had other stuff in them (RCs, leftover precursors, contaminants, all kinds of cuts, maybe even a bit of MDMA, etc...).
I know there's a thread about that, has the mistery been solved yet? I haven't checked in a while.

Yeah 3500 ecstacy pills over a 9 year period doesn't seem very healthy lol. Good thing you made it out, maybe it was also due to the fact that you were young.
It still averages about 1 pill a day if you had been a daily user, doesn't seem like a whole lot when you compare it to the "dosing regimens" of many popular drugs (but it is a lot when it comes to mdma).
