i agree, i think, but there needs to be some better way to work it.

what about a phone in system where each nomination in each category has a different phone number, and people sms in their votes to the corresponding number and it's tallied on a computer system?

last year there were 3 or 4 threads stickied at any one time. It worked well, got plenty of votes and wasn't excessively polluting of the boards...
 
you only do 3 or 4 at a time?
are you fucking joking, or is your memory span really this short now?

3 or 4 categories at a time, then when they're complete (say a week after they were made), you lock em, write down the result and then start the next 3 or 4
so itll take 3-4 weeks.

so? People will actually vote for them.

Not like its vital to survival or anything

this people win a golden nang award but none of them get a real nang so the whole things worthless
 
You get Golden Nangs when you buy new soda syphons, they're totally useless but nice to look at for a while. Same goes for the awards here.
