Morning everybody.
The Trump Presidency is over. It has passed noon EST, former president Trumps term has officially expired and he is now out of office. And I just watched president Biden take the oath.
But Trump is likely to keep being a topic of interest through this coming year, to that end, our lovely CEPS mods have kindly given me the honor of getting to be the one to update the threads for the new year!
Normally we would have locked the 2020 Trump thread by now, but because of the election it was left open until the inauguration. That time is now here and I have just closed the 2020 Trump presidency thread.
In the interest of respect to the by no means small number of Americans who voted for Trump, after some discussion we have decided to call this the former president trump thread. In deference to the office that he held for better of worse.
Please now continue your regularly scheduled rantings.
