Are the ACHs actually pretty toxic? Besides the bladder issues I mean? Ketamine is considered one of the very safest anesthesia agents.

^ I hear that they're also pretty damaging to other organs like the kidneys and heart. Perhaps ketamine is considered safe for anaesthetic purposes because it's typically only used once, for the duration of a single operation, and the side effects only come into play with more chronic usage? I'm not sure, I'd have to do a little more research.

Ketamine is just about the most vile and toxic substance you can put into your body next to inhalants and GBL. I have posted an article on here somewhere. Information is just emerging since chronic use is a relatively new phenomenom. I will try to dig up the article. Bottom line is: There is no organ that doesn't get wrecked by chronic exposure to ketamine.

A sterile shot of ketamine gave me a pretty nasty ulcer within a couple of hours since the concentration was too high. It can cause necrosis due to it's local vasoconstrictive effects. I also get nosebleeds a day after shooting it (or using other roa's for that matter).

It would be best to assume the same goes for all other dissociative arylcyclohexylamines.

Unfortunately, that's pretty much all in line with what my research has led to as well. :\ That's why I talk about 2'-Oxo-PCE, my favorite arylcyclohexylamine, as if it's gone forever already, even though I know I can still get it.... As great of psychoactive drugs as the arylcyclohexylamines can be, it does seem like they're indeed quite toxic to the point that I've decided it's probably best for me to simply appreciate the experiences I've had with them and move on....

I haven't yet heard anything like that about the diphenidine analogues yet though.... I'd definitely love to try some ephenidine if I could get my hands on it too.

We did see with the Methoxetamine mice experiment that 3 months of daily use caused damaged to a number of systems. Sporadic use at reasonable doses (effective dose at baseline tolerance) doesn't seem to be a concern, but as doses increase to combat tolerance, and multi-day binges add up, significant harm is very possible. I noticed a range of increasingly-worrying symptoms after binges of more than a few days.

In short, the ACHs for the kost part have a very decent therapeutic index, but abuse can definitely push past that range.
Back on topic, ephenidine in my experience did not feel caustic at all. Tasted kinda sweet in a way. But a lot more material is needed compared to say MXE, and tolerance pushes up quickly consecutive uses, so it is hard to say what kind of stress it may put on the body at higher doses.

Wise words. <3 I hope you can abstain or at least keep use to a minimum.

Tried this one yesterday. Took what would be considered a pretty low dose, 25 mg orally, and went to a show. I was actually surprised by how evident the effect was. By no means it was a strong effect, but it was clearly there. Maybe an hour after ingestion I smoked cannabis and as usual effects were magnified significantly. There was a point I got pretty euphoric, it felt almost opiate-like. I found it not very stimulating, but it made me more awaken nonetheless. Had no trouble sleeping 5 hours after ingestion. Didn't feel manic at all.

I really liked the experience. I got interesting and very very beautiful colorful closed eyed visuals. Very intrigued by what higher dosages would do. Felt definitely different than the ACHAs, but if I had to compare I would say it was closer to MXE than to K or 3-MeO-PCP. It felt very warm and anxiolytic.

So a few months ago I bought a lot of ephenidine, and my friends and i have enjoyed it a lot. This month I started taking SSRIs. At first I was hesitant to try it, because of potential serotonin syndrome risk but I decided to be a fucking guinea pig and try it because I'm a dumbass and I don't recommend doing this for your health, but I do have to say that there is an interaction (at least in terms of ephenidine's effects) and it's quite strange. Before I can explain the interaction, I have to explain what a normal experience usually is.

So a normal ephenidine trip for me (before SSRIs) usually goes in two plateaus/phases:
-A Scattered Phase - scattered and unable to remember basic things such as passwords. The scattered phase is usually not a good thing. I will find myself in thought loops.
-Hypomanic Productivity -I'm a pornstar and It certainly inflates my self-esteem. I find myself more inclined to wear clothes that companies have given me to *somewhat* inappropriate situations like my college lectures. My motor control can be unpredictable, sometimes it is perfect, other times it is that of a drunken person.

A third 'plateau' of effects can be reached when I take enough to completely hole.
The following has happened to myself and a friend of mine. It's a state of very little memory, comparable to being blacked out has occurred on multiple occasions on doses above 150mg. Complete detachment from the self and any form of proper judgement you may have had. I have vague memories of massively intense, visuals. It's like ketamine had sex with DMT and I broke through. I do not recommend going this high in dosage for your own safety. I personally never intend to go back here due to black outs. I've only blacked out once before, on MDMA and a small amount of alcohol

So, into the interaction with SSRIs and Ephenidine. I've noticed that the scattered phase almost completely goes away. I'll take 70mg of it orally and then do my homework, clean, shoot porn, etc. My judgement isn't necessarily impaired, and my motor control is entirely functional, I've felt 100% confident driving on it, and being sober at the moment, I don't believe I made a poor decision there except when it comes to legal risk. The effects are somewhat similar to what I would imagine a speedball would feel like. Stimulated, motivated, happy, but also experiencing analgesic effects. I have noticed that my anxiety entirely goes away when on ephenidine. It's kind of magical. Ever since i started taking SSRIs, I feel like it makes me function better as a person. Able to form more cohesive thoughts, remember things much better, and engage socially with less mental barrier.

Overall the effects are honestly amazing, it feels more like medication to me now than a recreational drug, and I really like it. I'm wary of addiction and do take days off, but the benefits are just so crazy to me that it's made me a more functional person.

Hey there, welcome to Bluelight and PD. :) Hope you stick around. Thanks for the info on ephenidine. It seems rather hard to find these days, which is a shame because I missed it and it's the only one of the -phenidines that sounds interesting to me.

I really absolutely love ephenidine. I found that there was a very fine line between achieving the hypomanic productivity/mood lift/energetic push phase, and the scattered phase. In the scattered phase it was terrible for effecting my speech and making me slur my words for a long time, and IIRC it was hard to find the sweet spot and avoid this. Maybe it was just the case that I had to go through the scattered phase to get to where I wanted to be; I really can't remember now. It's certainly got a far more euphoric push than ketamine, and I'm surprised ephenidine went relatively unnoticed considering its useful and effective anti-depressent & motivational applications. I was incredibly depressed and fatigued at the time and this substance helped me a lot.

I can remember k-holing once. Well, I say remember.... all I remember is my parents finding me in the garden at their house and being unable to wake me, and then me blabbering about how I'd been communicating with beings who told me I was going to try and help save the world. :\

This was during my etizolam powder phase, so wasn't really that uncommon for a good few months that year, unfortunately.

^Just don't bother with diphenidine, unless for some reason you love the taste of going to the dentists or the smell of disinfected hospital corridors somehow both lingering around your nose & mouth for the rest of the day. If you do, go straight ahead, but it's a a really shitty drug too, so maybe give it a pass.

MXP is nice/similar-ish though. I like the way it makes my skin feel. Kind of grubby/grimey/tight, but somehow nice.

I really like Ephe, but for some reason it seems to make me anxious sometimes. I actually had one very very bad experience in particular, full blown caught in my anxious thoughts kinda thing. It was really bad. It is the only disso ever to make me feel anxious. None of the others I've tried (3-MeO-PC(P/E), MXE, Ketamine, DMX) has made me feel anxious, not even close.

I must note, however, that my anxious experience was when I mixed with cannabis. Still, I wasn't on a particularly high dose of neither of the substances involved. Besides that side effect, this chem is beautiful, I've had some of the most amazing CEV ive experienced on it.

Hopefully it comes around again, I'd really love to give it a shot.

one thing I have noticed, anecdotal evidence at best- ephenidine has some strange tax on the eyes. I think it either mild eye damage or some strange form of HPPD. I noticed that after taking it my eyes can kind of hurt. After using it fairly often for a few months, I've noticed that light burns into my eye easier, and looking away creates a more noticeable impression of light that wouldn't normally burn in. For example, If I'm in my bathroom and i weigh myself, the light from the scale will stay in my vision for longer than expected

Never tried ephenidine, but have noticed something like this on other dissociatives. Delays in vision, like it takes a second to catch up with what I'm actually looking at, and sometimes after looking at something for a while, semi-transparent remnants seem 'stained' into my sight for a minute, slowly fading away.

Also, an uncomfortable strained feeling in the eyes after a while. It was quite bad and lasted into the next day the few times I had DXM, and I have noticed it occasionally with MXE, though less severe. Never experienced this with tryptamine, 2C-x/DOx psychedelics or MDxx.

I'm only really seeing positive feedback about the phenidines lately. When they first came to market the general reviews seemed to indicate amnesia, panic and erratic behaviour.

On the other hand, WE DID IT! so I guess everything has a potential upside.
