Hey people,

I've been using Ketamine for almost 2 years weekly now, most of the times in the weekend around 1 or 2 grams, sometimes a few lines during the week...
The last few months I don't feel any effect then just getting dull in my head and getting a headache...

My tolerance has gone way up and im curious if there are any people who know or have experience with how long I should take a break from taking Ketamine for it to work again properly....

I use to use K more frequently...about 2-3 times a week, and yes the tolerance will catch up with you. If you wait about 1-2 months, it will be close to extinct, although there does seem to be some lingering tolerance...it is nothing too significant.
 
Hi what do you mean with lingering tolerance?
And how long did you use it for 2-3 times a week?

Also I have stopped one time for about 4 weeks but that didn't really solve the problem...

By the way im going to do a test as from today to stop for 2 months... and will post my reaction here...
 
I think a partial explanation for the whole "lingering tolerance" is that you are treading such well worn paths. The new car smell is all gone, you know exactly what to expect and what your reation is going to be. I find that a month or two brings some of that back, but its never going to be the same as the "honeymoon" was. ;(

Has anyone not come back from a K-hole?

I had 'fringe holes', i.e. total extreme CEVS and OOBES, but dunno if I ever hit the true K-hole but once, when I came back and EVERYTHING was utterly foreign for a bit, truly fucked up, the first thing I saw was a mirror and it so confused me that I wondered whether I was looking out from the mirror or looking into the mirror. Not to mention that words wouldn't come to me, and I forgot who/what/where I was for a brief spell, like 5-10 seconds.

Would it be possible for a schizophrenic to completely lose it and stay in that 'foreign, uncomprehending' state forever?

I dunno why I'm so worried, I K-holed after being diagnosed, but the period of coming down was a bit confusing, but I never had the experience that another BL poster compared to being 'reborn again', except for the one time I mentioned before.

And what truly scares me is that my dad pointed out the other day that while everyone here might be fine, people who are sitting as vegetables in state hospitals don't have the access or intelligence to use bluelight anymore to post about their state.
 
I recommend you proceed with extreme caution here. Your father is wise to caution you about the advice you get from the internet.

Have you thought about some alternate path such as meditation or prayer as a way to insight and understanding of reality. It may be your diagnosis of schizophrenia is part of your path toward some deep relationship with meditation and away from psychedelic drugs.

Just some thoughts I have from observing your postings and questions.

Yeah but the state hospitals were filled with vegatables long before K was ever invented.

I suppose if you're already half-mad anything could tip you over the edge. For Mark Chapman listening to the Beatles was what tipped him over the edge.

Is there much evidence of a link between schizophrenia and drug use? I know there's bullshit like "My son smoked doped when he was a teenager and now he's schizophrenic" but that's no evidence at all. I know a friend who'se never taken a drug in his life and has full blown schizophrenia while I've taken more psychedelics than anyone on earth and feel fine.
 
There's plenty of cases of LSD bringing out latent schizophrenia in individuals by causing psychotic breaks. This happens particularly around the ages of 18-24 in males.

Basically anything profoundly traumatic can exacerbate schizophrenia.
 
Sometimes I feel like I'm just done and that drugs have nothing more to offer me, other than alcohol (yes, I'm turning into one of 'THEM' lol), but I want to buy some ketamine one last time, almost to prove to myself that I don't want it anymore, and that it really has nothing left to offer me/isn't worth it.

And yes, I know how odd that is.
 
Its not odd at all. But, just consider what it is coming from. Its probably the fact that you are maturing and realizing that using drugs is not the best possible thing you could do to yourself coupled with the fact that you may have an addictive tendency toward compulsive drug use.

This is just speculation, since I don't know you. But, you do seem to have learned that you may be able to further yourself better without drugs than with.

Why not leave them behind and embark on a new path, maybe one that holds something deeper for you?

Ketamine and Drug testing

Is ketamine tested in the standard 5 or 7....or for the probation dept??? Any insight on the use of issufating ketamine would be greatly appreciated...! :)
 
Take is this way, I wouldn't risk my career if they could easily test for it. Yes, it's possible to test for the metabolite, norketamine. I am not positive on the length it stays in the system, heavy users maybe a week. It's not in the standard battery no, but it could be asked for if there was reason to suspect it?

I use it everyday and have had two piss tests. One with the little stick they dip in, and another they sent to the lab. Both came back negative:)
 
While it is possible to test for norketamine, I imagine it would be not worth it putting it in the standard tests.

I have always known that Ketamine never flags a drug test, but I could be wrong of course.

I did something similar with heroin, years after being an addict. Kinda just wanted to prove to myself I could resist it and had no reason to feel any particular way about it anymore. What I ended up doing instead was feeling like a retard for doing it in the first place, and realizing none of the bullshit procedure was necessary or useful to me at all.

I turned out fine. If you're concerned you may not, refrain. The end result will be the same. That's all I can tell you.

Sounds like a good idea if they allow that in my province
 
you can't just "got to your local vet", not in america anyway. And you also don't wan't to use ketamine everyday, it's addictive.
