After traveling 9,000 miles across the USA performing 60 sold out shows
in 45 cities, SuicideGirls heads downunder in 2006. This April we’ll be
bringing our Live Burlesque Show to Australia - our first ever club
tour outside the USA!

The tour will hit Australia in early April will go from the East to the
West Coast with awesome club shows already announced. These are the
dates:

Tuesday 4th April – Capitol Perth, WA
Wednesday 5th April – Fowler’s Live Adelaide, SA
Thursday 6th April – The Hi Fi Melbourne, VIC
Friday 7th April – The Metro Sydney, NSW
Saturday 8th April – The Arena Brisbane, QLD
Sunday 9th April – The Cambridge Hotel Newcastle, NSW

Tickets to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne are on sale now. Tickets for

Along for the ride of their lives is Melbourne four piece Ground
Components, who’ll be warming up the stage for us on the whole tour (with the
exception of Perth). With an energetic sound (influenced by Bob Dylan,
The Clash and Otis Redding), Ground Components' Soul-Rock performances
have been captured to a tee on their two EP releases with tracks like
“Sticks and Stones” and “It All Catches Up With You” greeted with gusto
by radio presenters, fans and the media, both at home in Australia as
well as overseas.
?In Perth, home town rockers The Fuzz take on the support slot.
Dirty, unpretentious rock ‘n’ roll that’s loud, primal and has a
straight-ahead style, thanks mainly to singer Abbe May’s snarl-and-spit vocals and
a full-tilt dual guitar attack. That sonic sound has so far seen them
win a coveted band competition run by Triple J, produce two killer EPs
and a debut album that any red-blooded rock ’n’ roll band would be
bloody proud of.

Also joining the SuicideGirls on tour is DJ Dr El Suavo. If old school
magic, Mexican wrestling masks and audience interaction turns you on,
then check out Dr El Suavo as he emcees, DJs and performs magic tricks
as part of the touring madness and mayhem. Dr El Suavo spins tunes from
the worlds of easy listening and lounge, soul and funk, film and TV
soundtracks, surf guitar and rockabilly, moog and organs, psychedelia and
garage rock... not to mention the incredibly strange and bizarre!!
Australia’s premier parlour magician and DJ, Dr El Suavo promises to fill
the night with music, madness and just a little touch of magic.

^ Because it was posted four months before the event which is against the guidelines. Haven't seen either of the mods around in a while though... I thought starsfalls would have been replaced by now?! Maybe she decided not to quit.

You're right. It's probably still a couple of weeks out considering it's not a major event but I don't really care in all honesty. Just wondering what happened to the mods.
 
actualy UAN it is a major even listing as this is an internation tour of australia
and just becauuse its nto a dance party does not mean it is any less of a major even

We arent on holiday. I have been reformatting a computer and working and tryin to have a life on top of BL. Some threads do slip past us. Even if we dont post everytime we are online it doesnt mean we are inactive ;)

This should of been closed a few weeks back when originally posted. There is also the report function people. I havent come across a report yet.

PS: i did step down but due reshuffling of mods and other matters i have deicded to stay on. I spoke to sonicnature about it and the relevant admins about it so they knew what was going on.
