Opioids subutex then in the same day?

first time poster, long time reader. first of all thank you all for the plethora of information.

i havn't used opiates in years so i have 0 tolerance, until yesterday. yesterday i did 90mg of oxycodone. today in the morning i snorted 4mg of subutex (and i feel nothing, its been like 15minutes...is that strange?)

my question is, is it worth doing more oxy tonight? (like, 12hours after i snorted the subutex) will i get high or is it a waste? i understand subutex blocks the opiate receptors and what-not...

4mg of bupe will block any other opiate for a MINIMUM of 24 hours.. probably longer depending on your metabolism.. dont waste the oxy

Buprenorphine is somewhat underwhelming because it's only a partial agonist with relatively low activity (around 30% of what the receptors could do if I'm right), this is what makes it so safe about respiratory depression etc ... but as hydromorph said, it binds very tightly and blocks all other opioids.
