Opioids Statex - Morphine sulfate

First of all, SWIM would like to say theyve been using this site for years. you guys are all great! Now heres SWIM's sitch:

SWIM Came across some morphine sulfate (instant release - statex brand) from a friend. He got them from a sports injury, and dosnt want them, so he gave them to SWIM. SWIM got a full bottle, and want to play around with them. SWIM does codeine CWEs 200+mg every other week or so, and has a couple rec doses of percs/oxys in the past, and some years ago smoked some kind of pharms morphine powder. SWIM mostly just curious about this new form of morphine. SWIM figure hell jus take 10pill = 50mg morphine and see what happens... SWIMs' question is, what else is in these pills? Despite SWIMs' research, he cannot find much info. If SWIM was going to take a few he wouldn't ask, but since they are 5mg pills, SWIM's going to need atleast 10. SWIM is a little concerned as to what else is in them, and if taking 10 might pose some harm?? Every pill SWIMs' done, hes CWEd. Now the pills are TINY, but to big to be only 5mg morphine, so SWIM know theres at least binders/fillers. Should SWIM be worried? or can he pop 10-15 and just relax?

SWIM also has some cyclobenzaprine, that he normally mix (10mg+) with his codeine CWE. What about mixing it with the morphine?

First off, we don't use "SWIM" here, it affords you no legal protection and is thereby pointless. Secondly, it can take a couple days for people to respond, you don't need to bump within the first 24 hours of posting.

With that said, it is good you are concerned about the binders and fillers in pills that you are taking an excessive amount of (Bluelight has taught you well!), however that is really only relevant to pills that have other active drugs (most commonly NSAIDs) in them, like vicodin or tylenol 3. Given that Statex only has morphine in it, you're good to just take them plain without any additional filtration. I would recommend you maybe take a little less than 50mg tho as your tolerance is only to 200mg of codeine, which is not only a weaker opiate to begin with but also only equivalent to 30mg of oral morphine, not 50mg. In which case maybe start with 6 of the 5mg pills and go from there.

Agree with the above poster. IR Morphine is more rare to find now days due to its low bioavailability in taking orally but really high taken in other methods. Nevertheless 10mg Morphine is like 10 mg hydricodone, or roughly 7.5mg oxycodone give or take. The fillers are nothing different than what you would find in most drugs
