Sodium valproate with pills or meth

hey swim is on sodium valproate for epilepsy and he wants to continue to occasinally use meth or mdma.. he wants to know if this is safe or not while on 400mg of valproate per day. thanks guys

John I signed up just to let you know that your friend will no dramas on 400mg a day using mdma. Im on a far higher dose than that and it actually gives me alot weaker come downs than I got before I was on it.

One thing to keep in mind is that Sodium Valporate is a salt and as such you have to drink plenty more water than the average person, so combined with mdma it is something to be mindful of.

There's also the question of individual metabolism. The MIMs entry for Vaproate oulines many possible interactions and contraindications. I'd suggest reading this before deciding that's its completely safe to do. BLer Dr Beat has had quite a bit of experience with Valproate so his opinions on this might be worth seeking.
