Smoking spiders?!!!!!

I once saw a show where this guy kissed a fish.
Not only does it appear to be addictive (he does it every show) but I believe it turned him into a moron.

^ Well, I guess your kidding, but search for Dreamfish, thats meant to be a psychedelic

Phase_dancer: the history of that moth is fascinating. I'm intrigued as to the biochemistry of an insect hallucinogen!

I noticed in the article about the scorpion they called it an arachnid. Does that mean that there would possibly be spiders with similar poison to to the particular scorpion they are using as they are kinda related? Would that mean there could be some credability to the story, perhaps not with redbacks but other spiders?

Nice Tits

I just don't think there's be any truth to this story, particularly with the smoking of it which would vapourize the 'active' chemical, I mean redback spiders venom was not designed to be smoked but injected into the blood . . . I'm sure that if you did that there would be a psychoactive effect, but it would be indistinguishable from the toxic effects . . . now it would be interesting if a great chemist like Shulgin could isolate and synthesise the pyschoactive properties of various venoms .. . maybe

He's not kidding, i hear its like Viagra..

EREXTION.

are redbacks like American black widows? (they have a red hour glass on their back side) They're also highly poisonous.

If they are, I really doubt any of the effects would be pleasurable at all.
rotting of the flesh around the bite, seizure, coma, death

Not that I think anyone is going to have a crack at it, but it is important to remember that the only one of these toads present in Australia is the Bufos Marinus (Cane Toad) and I dont care what you have been reading, Bufotenine (the only possibly active substance that they produce) is a poison cabable of causing you significant discomfort and even death in extreme cases. They certainly contain no 5-MeO-DMT.

The toad you are after if you want to get high is the Sonoran Desert Toad. Mind you I would be inclined to say leave the poor things alone.
