Misc Selegiline as an antidepressant?

Hi,

I have some serious motivation and concentration issues. And because of that i am suffering from depression(i lost my job because of it). Can doctors prescribe selegine for depression and will it help for motivation and concentration?

I asked my psychiatrist to test me for ADD or ADHD but he said it had no use as i already have a diagnosis for Asperger syndrome(autism). So i cannot get medications like ritalin, adderal etc. Does that make sense?

Is there a list of other antidepressants that work specifically on motivation and concentration?
