Stimulants Recrystalizing or re-cooking meth resin, is it possible?

After cleaning out my glass pipe several times over the course of about 3 months, grinding it up to a powder form, and weighing it, I have 4 grams of a brown powder that I don't know what to do with. Is it possible to recrystalize it in to shards? Is it possible to get rid of the brown color is has become?

activated charcoal + boiling is what the chem textbooks would say you can use to decolorize solutions.

in principle you should be able to dissolve it in e.g. methanol and then evaporate it off gently in a petri dish?

I would start with an acetone wash. Then I would add water to it and filter of any insolubles.
If it still looks like shit I would then move on to an acid base extraction.
