Lol, maybe he was calling someone pumpkin as an endearing term? Like when you call someone honey cause their sweet like honey... wait... would pumpkin refer to a fat person with rosacia?

Anyways, I hate bupe and everyone knows it, but if the goal is getting clean for real, it could still be a good idea to get on a short-term, low dose maintenance phase and taper off relatively quickly. You get in deep with Suboxone when your idiot doctor starts you on a massive dose that far exceeds what you were using and then you end up stuck on it for years. If used properly and with true sobriety as your goal, it can work and has worked for many people. OP sounded quite desperate, fed up, and admitted he doesn't think he'll be quitting any time soon. Perhaps a bupe regimen wouldn't be such a bad idea as a safe, always there, stable habit. Pick your poison.
