So guys, this is the worst I've ever been in withdrawal... I have 12 hours till I get my pills . I'm soo miserable, restless legs and cold/hot flashes. I'm so sore . I just wanna go too sleep already and wake up to my fix. I hate this habit..! I wish I could be happy without drugs like most people. Why am I so fucked up in the head and continue to be a fuckin junkie. I hate myself for letting myself become like this... I know I need to get clean but I also know I'm not gonna quit anytime soon.. maybe I'll get the courage to switch onto suboxone someday.. how the hell does anyone ever manage to escape the grip that opioids can have on you? I honestly salute and praise anyone who can overcome opiates. This shit is the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. Oh how I wish I took everyone else's advice before I took this path...

I know. Every opioid addidct feels that way sometimes... But then you get your pills.
Any comfort meds? I usually sleep a lot the first night. Maybe just eat some Spidey food or do some exercise or watch an amazing film.
Use the opportunity to have sex if you can now your libido is back! Or just watch porn. Music makes me way more emotional in withdrawal too so I appreciate it more.
I find I listen to less music when I'm high on Opies.

Take an early morning walk if you can't sleep and eat a high fat meal an hour or so before you dose if it's orally.

Withdrawal is similar tho regardless of roa. I thought he was talking morphine and might be slamming them (UK here).
Basically it sucks.
Mate all you have to do is wait for the appointment and then wait 24 hrs until you dose subutex. That's it! I did it!
I would NOT get on methadone tho. What country OP?

Oh you're buying them off the street? So basically they'4e fent? As is a lot of the black tar most likely.... I hear USA and Canada it's hard to get real h and pills.
Get on subs man. Or even methadone is preferably to getting a hot spot and someone finding you slumped over with foil or a needle in your arm, decomposing. Do you have medical insurance if you're in USA?

I always use Xanax and weed to overcome the withdrawal, Benadryl helps at night, ibuprofen. And EAT even if you don’t feel like it. And tbh Kratom has also helped me but I felt like it prolonged my withdrawal.

Subs are a trap!! Don’t do it it just keeps you in the vicious cycle and the withdrawal from suboxone is 2 times lingers. Would not recommend

Hmmm better than fent analogues that you're getting now and are also trapped in.
Yeah with withdrawal lingers but you can taper your dose way slow and easier.

i would disregard this post. subs will get you off the street drugs and provide you with as much time as you need, to prepare for eliminating drugs from your life. it's where your at in your head and your life that make the real difference in ease of quitting.

Captian Heroin (rip) posted about his IV suboxone taper that he used micron filters with and went down reaaaaalllll slow until he was on a ridiculously small dose and iirc he only had trouble kicking the routing if taking his dose every day.

The withdrawal is far off normal thoughts in the opposite (and negative) direction. Things like "what am I doing with my life or why am I so ---" are just the brain on zero endorphins and dopamine. I'm sure there's some dopamine still left in there because adderall feels really good to me still within the withdrawal peak, but not enough to enjoy anything (for me without stimulants).

Not to be mean but what did you expect? lol. I know how easy it is to just eat pill after pill day after day and just pretend everything will be fine and dandy, but eventually every junkie has to realize how powerful the high is and that it would not just leave you alone when it comes to paying up. Otherwise we would all be on heroin 24/7 if there was no withdrawal. Quite frankly I would very much like that.

The cheat codes in life for opiate withdrawal are short term kratom use (to get rid of the physical symptoms a bit) and suboxone. You don't want to use kratom long term and then be on both kratom and oxy like I was (two withdrawals two stones).. and I don't know how subs affect other people. For some reason, suboxone use does not raise my tolerance even on wicked high doses.. like I'll be able to take 20 milligrams of suboxone (I know) a day and then just stop after a week or two and face literally no opioid withdrawal. This could just be my brain being strange though. Still, tapering off of subs with a doctor (or even by yourself) would help the withdrawal not be so "maybe I should just end myself."

It's important to know that suicidal thoughts during opiate withdrawal should probably not be left untreated or helped. They'll force you to relapse in a dangerous fashion or just have worse consequences tbh. I find it impossible to get off opioids while they feel amazing, but others have triumphed in that regard. Right now I'm just a little bored with opioids. I've done them so much in the past 5 years (how did I let it get this long?) that I'm underwhelmed with any dose and type of whatever colored pill. It's almost as lackluster to swallow oxy now to the point that not being on opioids all the time might be more colorful.

I actually find myself fantasizing quite often these days how percocet used to feel. How morphine tablets and etcetera just were this incredible blanket of warmth that tore apart anything bad or any person within my life that was not enjoyable. Now opioids do nothing for my physical or mental pain and just burn through my bank account.

Pumpkin, Thanks for your post. I can definitely relate to everything you're saying. I only take now for fear of withdrawals. I'm taking six - 30 mg a day. Have to start out with 2 in the morning to feel anything. My tolerance for blues is through the roof! I've got subs, but an afraid to take first dose, as I don't know what dose to start with. I don't want to take them long term, just libg enough to detox off of blues. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated! I'm really bummed out about being so hooked on these little blue pills. Thanks in advance Pumpkin.

Benadryl will make RLS during withdrawals flair up like a motherfucker for many. I do not recommend using that.

But if op keeps going back to fent presses isn't subs the lesser of two evils here?

Getting clean is easy staying clean after is something ppl repeatedly fail at alot. At some point they decide inevitable relapse is not fun or safe space they get on subs
