Just thought ill ad article regarding contact lens and something to consider, reading the story tells me the guy didnt take any responsibilities with lens care, but nonetheless..

Eye specialists are calling for greater restrictions on the sale of novelty contact lenses after they destroyed a man's cornea - the first case of its kind in this country. The 24-year-old from Auckland lost the sight in one eye after it became infected from wearing a pair of coloured contact lenses.

I really doubt that the majority of people would even notice your pupils are large............seriously when was the last time you actuyally checked out the size of a persons pupils when you were talking to them?

Its all just paranoia

I generally look people in the eyes when i talk to them, and of course you can notice if their pupils are incredibly oversided.

And if they have light blue or light green eyes, its even more obvious.

I agree with the sleep. An hour or two will generally help alot. I personlly wouldnt wear those kinds of contact lenses.

Yeah i always note size of pupils, and also subconsciuously check their arms for needle marks.

haha! same here, and you can tell that theyre on combos/speedballs/cocktails, cos their pupils continuously change from small to large kind of like what mine does. People on ice/meth if you look closely (or in the mirror lol) their pupils tend to pulsate almost and glow more than a tube of clear eyes, with bloodshot eyes if smoking weed too.

You could cultivate a good ol fashion lie. eg. Its a type of glaucoma (this doesnt actually cause dilation, but its believable that pressure behind the eye could do it). btw, the tests for glaucoma are a legit cause of dilation

Whoa whoa..
Since before I can remember I can't bare to look at people with pupils that are even slightly larger than normal. They just look like some kind of evil demon. But I'm pretty sure it's not just me who finds it so noticable.. right guys??

for people wanting contact lensers, Just thought id let you know that you can order them from websites and you do not require an eye examination.... but you have to know what diameter you need etc. Everyone is different so yeah, you can take a guess and hope for the best but if its wrong, the contact lense will just sliping of your eye and feel terrible and will probably do some damage to your eye. How hard is it to go to the optometrist tho? it only takes 15-20mins MAX and its free...
