Console Ps3 Playstation move features. What are they exactly?

As I have noticed it is some kind of feature with additional hardware that i don't have yet, I wonder. Is it really neccesary to own this piece of material? It does give me the idea that some games might require it for it to be easier because something like "child of eden" seems quite hard. Is it because i don't have this item?

Pretty sure it's like a stick with a colored lightbulb on that you wave around and sorta works like a wii remote? Interacts wirelessly with a sensor that plugs in the controller port I think. Never used one myself.
Tbh with you I always heard they were pretty crap!

when the wii came out and kind of revolutionized motion control, Sony and Microsoft both introduced their own products. Move and Kinect.

I think there are a few games that require it. Not many I don't think.

kinect used to be separate from the console but they eventually built it in.

Pretty crap, was only good on this one frisbee game lol. If its needed for a game it should have a big symbol on the game packaging I think
