Misc Pregabalin and cardiac arrhythmia

When i take 600mg pregabalin it makes me feel very nice but I get strange sensations in my chest sometimes. I suddenly become aware of my heartrate and it seems fast and irregular. These sensations only last a couple of minutes and it happend to me 5 times during my 600mg dose.

Is pregabalin dangerous for your heart? Can it cause cardiac arrhythmia?

Yes, cardiac arrhythmia is listed as an infrequent side effect, so maybe see your doctor and make an EKG

Pregablin works at the calcium channels and this is where most heart medications work as well. Be careful, atrial fibrillation can generate deadly blood clots.
