Console Pokemon Sword and Shield

I have shield CA but I'm moving slow as fuck as usual.

I found the game super-slow (in a good way) then super-fast. I take my time and explore everything, speak to everyone, try and catch 'em all etc and it took me 10 hours to get to the first gym (never taken more than 5.5 before; with Platinum) but then I'd completed the game in 40 hours.
I'm doing a second round now (with a different starter) an ACTUALLY making sure I catch them all and play a lot more thoroughly now I've gotten through a first go.

Where you up to?

Lol I'm not even to the first gym yet. This is what happens to me with games. If I get depressed or go through a really stressful time I don't play because I don't want to waste the experience.

Awww be happy, mal! I want you to be happy. Be happyyyyyyy :D
I'll bring opiates and comedy movies and we can snuggle and play pokemon :) :)

That sounds nice but can it be weed and which comedies are you talking? 😉

I have a question:
Sword and Shield are set in the UK...so why are all the shop names and billboards and things in a language that appears to be something like Cyrillic or Japanese?

I'm really loving how you can see Pokémon in the wild now and can avoid them if you want. Makes the games much more enjoyable.

I wish there were better villains though. They should just bring back the original team rocket. Who cares if it doesn't make sense.

@Cosmic Charlie are you gonna get the expansions ?

Absolutely but it doesn't seem like its happening for awhile the last I checked. Like months and months, dont really see a need to prepay for it if it's so far in the future. I'm eagerly awaiting their release for sure tho.

June will be here before you know it!

maybe I will be done with the regular game by then =D 8(

I dont know how you couldn't have finished it yet I got so hooked and couldn't stop playing. You know I'm gonna fire it up and play for awhile right now that will take my mind off the troubles I'm going through with my Dissos addiction. Pokemon has always made me so happy.

And I haven't even fleshed out all of my team yet and have more evolutions to pursue. I have to get back into healthy habits.

You'll get back on track man. We are always here for you.

whats your favorite lineup/team to use in Sword?

As of right now here it goes.

Charizard
Gyarados
Cinderace
Snorlax
Eternatus
Jolteon

Not for any specific strategy just because I love all those guys so much. I'm gonna play around in the Wild Area for an hour or so and then get back to cleaning the house. Got alot of stuff accomplished around here so far today :)

Expansions? :D!
What they called?

This game is complete garbage. I played every, single, generation, since 1998 (RBY). For me SM/USUM are the best games, together with G-S-Crystal. I can guarantee Sw/Sh it's a waste of money. It's the most pathetic retard-proof grind ever made. You buy it just because it's called "Pokémon" but let's be real, there are glithces and errors everywhere and it's an insult to the brand.
Do you remember having the FEAR of your rival every step (gen 1-3) instead of "omg again this crappy trainer that looses everytime"? Do you remember getting lost in 11 floors of Silph Spa in RBY? Or spinning around in the Team Rocket's Secret base at the casino? Do you remember those mazes in almost every single game, where you have to move the rocks, go underwater, and getting lost with 99x repels and start all over again because you did one mistake or you didn't stop the bike at the right moment (Sky Pillar Rayquaza)? Do you remember those sliding ice mazes in GSC or RSE? Or the gyms in B/W I can go on forever the list is infinite. What about Regi trio, or the Unowns, or catching Lugia, catching Ho-Oh, Latios, Latias, GIRATINA IN DIAMOND (ffs that was bat shit crazy) Mewtwo in first gen... I mean do you remember when you had that adrenaline rush that you were in a special weird place full of tricks but YOU KNOW there was a HUGE gift at the end?
Well forget about it. Forget everything. There isn't even the HM Cut/Fly/Strenght/Blablabla. There is only a stupid bike and a lame teleport which works kinda like fly. There is no enigma.
There is a boring and easy story to follow, you beat this, you beat that, you go to the elite four, here is the legendary, end of the game.

Oh you now say "Sw/Sh isn't like previous games, maybe there is no challenge and it's noob friendly but I guarantee its' strongest point is the multiplayer" but guess what, have you ever wanted to pay $20/year just to connect your console to the internet and play with others? Well now you want, otherwise your pokedex will remain uncomplete forever. Yes you understood right. To do trades and battles, you must PAY. Because you already paid $250 of console, and also $60 of game, now let's add $20 more just because. Oh wait, it's not ended here. Now instead of fixing all the stupid glitches and release a stable version, they release an expansion pack. So again, more money to spend. And don't forget to download the Pokemon HOME for your smartphone so you can transfer pokemons from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Sw/Sh. I forgot to mention Pokemon HOME costs money aswell.

That's why I got 20 hours of played and never touched it again that shit after completing the main story and getting the legendary.

This is the classic zoomer bait content, retarded people that PAY for DLCS, the same stupid people that buys skins on Fortnite/League of Legends or buy Belle Delphine's toilet water.

Sorry for being so rude and angry, this is my crappy review of a huge waste of money and a horrible, horrible console.

You wanna buy it because you are a Pokemon fan and you don't wanna miss it? It is perfectly okay, I did it aswell. But for me it's something different that has nothing to do with previous games. For me Pokemon died with the 3DS.
Switch = GARBAGE.

Ohhh, you're one of *those* :p

I love it. ALTHOUGHHHHH I have the SwitchLite because I wanted a hand-held console (my GameBoy gave me life in the 90s then I used my bro's PSP and then a couple years ago my ex got me the DS) and had no interest in hooking it up to my TV. I love the one I have but I don't think I'd like the Switch with the detachable sides.
Honestly, though, I really liked Sword and was surprised by that because so many people were negging it before it even came out. I did want an actual "Team" of bad guys, though. This didn't have one at all as the pseudo-bad guys were just Marnie fans. Then half-way through they're like "K, Bye Falicia" and help you instead.

Anyone see Detective Pikachu?

I'm on a second play-through as I'm actually heavily using the Wild Area and trying to catch 'em all this time. I've ended up with a team all leveled between 68 and 100 by the 8th gym though so I'm SUPER over-leveled.
OH THAT REMINDS ME! Anyone think the games keep getting easier?
The last few games you first got the Exp. Share very early on, then it became an automatic things AND also works when you catch Pokemon.
In S/S they catch-rated seems super-high. Remember how hard the Elite Four etc are in the early games? They nothing now. I honestly one-shotted almost every finalist/the final guy in Sword. I'd prefer more challenging games. Yeah, I was 7 when I got Red/Blue/Yellow (I got Red, my bro got Blue and our friend got Yellow the same Xmas lol) but I don't think it's my age. In fact, kids that age are often better than adults at these games because they learn so much more quickly.
Ohh nostaligia. I had an awesome cousin who's like 6 years older than me and she used to help me beat the hard levels of he OG Super Mario for GameBoy :D.

Like they always wait a while and then release bigger/improved versions (Like Moon and Sun to Ultra Moon and Ultra Son). Anyone know when they are doing with with Sword and Shield?
I need some money and thought about selling my copy of Sword but only if the updated one is out relatively soon.
