Opioids Plugging Subs and Half Life.

[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Ok I have been looking all over the net for info on this and I cannot find anything. I figured someone here might have some insight.

Does anyone know if the route of administration of subs makes any difference in the half-life. I know the normal numbers but I was just wondering if anyone had any information in regards to this. A friend (who is not exceptionally bright, but knows his drugs) told me that it was shorter if you plug your dose rather than sub-lingual. Any insight or discussion would be greatly appreciated.[/FONT]

CAnt find rectal BA for buprenorphine, however I did find this 10pg thread that may have the answer:

I would think that rectal ROA would be on par or better than oral; it's just being absorbed by a different membrane.
