Interesting video. I remember in the past I used to really disagree with a lot of the things that Carl Hart said. Glad to see that he has taken on much more reasonable beliefs lately.

The result was that after thirty days of exposure to an enriched environment, addiction behavior typical of these three models had disappeared.

My experience with addiction (synthetic cannabinoids) was similar. Overcoming the physical addiction wasn't entirely terrible. The worst of the physical withdrawals were over in several days. The real challenge was resolving the original psychological problems motivating my drug use. Environment significantly influenced this.
