Stimulants Overdosed on 300mg of vyvanse!

Hello I OVERDOSED on vyvanse around 4 months ago and been seeking help ever since I Have been diagnosed with stimulant phychosis and will begin medication treatment soon. I have been feeling detached from my self. kind of a feeling of not being completely here. I have anxiety through the roof and muscle spasms. that will be looked at my a doctor soon. I also have bad eye sight now! can anyone tell me who should i seek for help. I have eye floaters now and really sensitive to light my eyes begin to ache and have headaches. I dont know what it is but help would be appreciated. I will keep you updated as well

Tough to say which specialist to seek, possibly a neurologist would be a beneficial appointment to make.

When I developed floaters and other eye sight problems I went to an Ophthalmologist.

Did you take anything after the incident ? Like a benzo ? If so, did it help ?

Floaters can't be treated an shouldn't be worried about.a lot of people have them naturally.

^ Yep, I've had them for so long I don't even notice them 99% of the time, and the 1% of the time I do notice them, I'm not bothered by it..

Interesting, I developed eyed floaters (generally benign unless they develop very rapidly and in excess, that can indicate possible retinal detachment), and I also got the photophobia - extreme sensitivity to light after maybe six months at 50-mg/day Vyvanse. I no longer take it. Maybe there's a connection? I agree with the others, you should see specialists about these symptoms. GP/Internist isn't going to be knowledgeable enough to cover all your issues.

If you don't give time to your body to adapt itself to the new stimulant bad things will happen to you. Things need to break slowly inside of you and rebuild themselves. If you take 300mg all of a sudden you destroy yourself, there's too much strain on everything.

Ehh, yeah I have had stun psychosis twice, once from 4-5x 75mg vyvanses and once from 12x 30mg xrs in a 12hr period. Both fucked my head for sometime, but I'm out of it now, don't do anything to retrigger it, and you may need some pharmaceutical help.

What you have is probably not "eye floaters" it is probably just dead white blood cells that everyone sees in the vision field at some time or another.

so wait, do you have stimulant psychosis or hallucinogen persisting perception disorder? they're two very different beasts.
