Opioids Opioid Cross-Tolerance Charts: Confused

I have no idea what is meant by "cross tolerance". I found one conversion site that lists cross-tolerance from 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50%.

For instance, I converted 400 mg of codeine at the highest cross-tolerance (50 percent) for oxycodone and it stated the oxy dose to be 24.2 mg.

However, when I put the 400 mg of codeine with a 20% cross-tolerance for oxy it states the equivalent oxy dose is 38.8 mg ...

I don't get it. What percentage should I adjust my cross-tolerance to?

Uh cross tolerance is a safety measure between different opioids when switching

it it is the % knocked off of final calculated dose

TBh, don't really worry about that, conversion charts vary anyway, and your talking above the max dose of codiene

30mg would be a fine dose to start with-if you're worried start with 20mg, and can always take more-trust me havestuddied nearly vevery conversion chart or. "calculator " at some point
