Opioids OP 80 partial dosage?

So my usual dosage is 30mg-37mg oxycodone ir, I can handle more physically but I don't because it messes with tolerance and what not, plus nodding is annoying so let's just say 30, for hydrocodone it's 40mg..... so for the OP 80 perhaps half of it for a decent buzz? That would just be 40mg spread out, correct?

In essence, yes. The manufacturer will say dont cut it because it can dose dump blah blah blah. In reality, its still pretty if not fully intact after cutting it. But it will take longer to kick in. Last longer though.

80 mg ER = 40 mg IR

Supposedly..... The other reason not really mentioned is the gradual blood level change vs quick rise and drop
