Shulgin mentioned this one in a patent application in 1996, Novel n-substituted-2-amino-3',4'-methylene-dioxypropiophenones as anti-depressant and anti-parkinsonism agents, but nothing is known about its pharmacology. Anyone giving this one a try?

If Bupropion is any indication, this is going to be an extremely short-lived NDRI that gets converted into its non-dopaminergic metabolite so rapidly as to be orally inactive.

Oh, and expect a significant chance of seizures at anything approaching a recreational dose.

I really hope they didn't cut down any poor Sassafras trees for that Methylenedioxy group.

Poison in the sense that any activity carries the risks we all adore in Burpropion and the precursor bit isn't something this forum is for.

Also bupropion is reasonably safe, a seizure rate of 0.1% compared to 0.07 to 0.09% unprovoked seizure rate in the general population?
