I recall reading a patent with simple synthesis instructions for some compounds which were analogues to some highly potent NK1/NK3 antagonists found in chamomile in small amounts. I can't find it now. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I believe the compounds were reacted in some way with spermine

I don't know but NK1 ligands aren't especially simple in structure so i can't imagine a simple synthesis of one (although of course its possible if what you're starting from is most of the way there already i guess).

I think these were just minor modifications, mostly to enable patenting it, although perhaps they might have been more potent. Wish I could find that patent.
