POLICE have charged 46 people with more than 130 drug and property offences following the seizure of a large amount of heroin and other drugs in Toowoomba, southeast Queensland.
The charges were laid during a week-long operation ending today, which involved Toowoomba's tactical crime squad, drug investigation team and other staff.
It was the second part of Operation Poitrel, which resulted in 62 people being charged with 250 offences earlier this month.
Police searched 30 properties over the last week, seizing what they described as a "large amount" of heroin, amphetamines and cannabis.
Stolen laptop computers, video cameras, DVD players, radios, credit cards, electrical tools and jewellery were also recovered.
A total of 46 people were charged with 135 offences, including 64 property charges and 67 serious drug offences.
They are due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court over the next three weeks.
Police said investigations would continue and expected further charges to be laid.
