I'm currently on 1mg on klonopin a day. My sub doctor wants me to get off the benzos but I actually need them. The klonopin I just take in the morning and at night but it doesn't work fast enough for anxiety attacks. I need to change them to a different benzo for my anxiety during the day and something for insomnia.
I have no trouble staying asleep for atleast 4-5 hours but it takes me hours and 300 mg's of Seroquel to fall asleep. And every few days that doesn't help.
Any ideas on which meds could work? My next doc appointment is tomorrow afternoon. I will not take any of the Z-class drugs for sleep.
Just to be clear: I'm not asking how to get drugs from doctors; I have my doctors that are aware of my prescriptions. I'm simply asking for ideas.
