Hello Guys.

I would be really grateful for someone with good knowledge on organic chemistry to provide me with assistance on establishing whether or not my mathematics on doses relating to a novel chemical based on ic/50 values are correct or not...

The maths are based on the target chemical DCA based on 10mg per kg per day and one of its novel analouges.

Structures and in vitro activity data for N-phenyl-2, 2-dichloroacetamide analogues. aIC50 is 50% inhibitory concentration.
b ‘−’ means IC50 > 400 μmol·L−1

The values are as follows;

BGC-823KBA549BEL-7402
DCA1 051 ± 3601 424 ± 148 1 011 ± 300860 ± 271
Analouge31.85 ± 28.611.71 ± 1.222.84 ± 1.1412.06 ± 9.8
potency33.90832.74355.9871.31
mg/kg0.29490.0120
0.0280
0.1402

Ive come to these mathematics by taking the first value of DCA and dividing it by the first value for analouge reaching a potency increase by x fold, so its x times more potent over the target chemical DCA, I then divided the dose for DCA @ 10mg/kg by the value in the potency field to reach the analouges estimated dose per kg...

Could someone please confirm these mathematics are correct?

Thanks

Yes go post this in neuroscience and pharmacology. But it will be nice to know the disassociation half life, or how long it takes half of the molecules to disassociate from the receptors, though I think this will be similar since it's an analogue. Same with blood brain barrier penetration.
