Also ketamine is dope.
Did you ever try MXE?
Dude I fucking wish. I'm too young, and I missed that sweet spot in time. If I could get some I would.

No worries. Kava beats valerian any day in my book. I would almost liken valerian to poppers- amyl nitrate. A cheap thrill in a way. Valerian is strong, but primarily sleep inducing, and with a groggy after feel when I took it years ago.I completely forgot that kava was even a thing. I‘ll give that a try and get back to you
thanks for the warm welcome
So true. They say both the medicine and the poison is in the dose.I mean please look into how they work and doses obviously, herbs can be just as dangerous and wonderful as potent synthetic drugs.
Hi just saw your post. Happy welcome too. It's really pleased me lately to see so many new members join, with really interesting points and experience to share, and we welcome all aboard here.I suggest Gabapentin or something in its family. I've been taking it for ten years. Search for gabapentin or a thread called gabapentin dosing on here that's not very old.
It's a very mild, euphoric, happy go lucky, nice buzz. It gradually comes on and gradually leaves. No bad side effects and no comedown at all. It doesnt impair you where you cant work or drive and it makes you feel good enough, you could conquer the world.
If you do get your hands on these bad boys, a good starting dose would be 900mg. Now, these things build up a tolerance in your body like over night. So if you were to go and take them the next day, you would have to double your dose to feel them. So you can't get off on them daily, unfortunately.
Oh, and just to warn you, they take about two hours to kick in. Any more questions, just ask.
Another name gabapentin goes by is Neurontin. And Pregabalin and Lyrica is the same type of meds but I've never tried them.

Kratom I like! But it has a nasty edge. It is physically addictive, with horrific withdrawals, really you need to use it 2 or 3 times a week max ideally.Im interested in ketamine for sure, I had the tiniest baby bump years ago at a festival and enjoyed the sense of dreamy peace. My issue now is isolation and inexperience, I just don’t know where people get this shit lol.
In that case, herbs might be the way to go. I’ll have to play with the dosage, otherwise something like a cup of valerian tea sounds pretty underwhelming.
Though I’ve been warned about Kratom multiple times, it still seems alluring, possibly moreso now . I want to at least give it a fair try - and as an update, I think I’ve narrowed it down to choosing a red strain.
I just found out about this famed MXE on the MXiPr thread. based on the numerous requests for it to cycle back around, and the glowing nostalgia with which people speak of it - it sounds divine . Now I’m wishing I was a chemist
Come join the illuminati we don't bite. We just help. I couldn't be happier. (No not a religious thing.) A human thing. Just some ideas.
I've tried a few preparations of ashwagandha and never felt anything. Does it have any (perceptible) effect on someone with a 4mg/day alprazolam Rx? I've heard good things about it from a few other people, but it seems to not work for me.I'm a serious downer/dissociation person so here are my favorites:
Ketamine!!!!
Or kava, kratom, phenibut, and GHB. Phenibut is so gross to take though... GHB is so nice and relaxing. It almost feels like a subutex mixed with molly at the right dose.
Ashwagandha tea is very nice. It's similar to a benzodiazepine. It's a root that you can brew into a tea, and you can most likely find it at your local apothecary.
Seconded the nitrous, although the redosing is very compulsive. LSD is also very nice every month or so.
It's pretty good to me, I take 1.5mg of clonazepam daily and I still get a good buzz from it. However, if somebody takes 4mg's of alprazolam daily I think that would be enough to nullify the effects of ashwagandha since they both effect GABA receptors.I've tried a few preparations of ashwagandha and never felt anything. Everyone has one.
be it drugs, sex or rock n roll. Lol.(or all of the above).
In all sincerity though, I’m looking for a new vice and figured I’d ask here.
Cannabis is too heavy for me and often anxiety inducing - I don’t blame the cannabis but rather potential neural associations made in my early 20s. Cannabis is not an easy going thing for me, it’s work. So that’s out.
I love the euphoria, relaxation and boldness of alcohol, but my body hates processing it, even a little bit - headaches, puking, so again it doesn’t really work for me.
I liked painkillers too, but that didn’t quite get me where I wanted to be either. The pills seemed lacking still.
What I’m looking for is something a bit euphoric, bright, relaxed, warm, dreamy maybe even a bit dissociative. I want to redirect my depressed thoughts and feelings, and numb out some physical and emotional pain.
I’m an artist, I like to practice/study/create..I like to deep dream and make something out of it, bring back little pieces for the world.
so ideally I’m searching for something or two things that would allow me to do so with more ease (maybe one for the relaxation melting away into my bed and one for doing things)
ideally these things are reasonably accessible, or perhaps someone more experienced can direct me.
I’ve been researching about Kratom, that seems doable. Wondering what you all think about the different strains?
I’m certainly curious about that old celebrated opium but have no idea where to get it.
I just need something new to enjoy and shift my frame of reference every once in a while. Except for strange thoughts, im sober almost always. Im open to suggestions
What’s your vice?

what’s your favorite state of being?
