I read somewhere that Roche set a sky high budget to come up with a brand name for Diazepam.
Valium, Viagra, Xanax... all of these words are worth a lot of money,, i've always enjoyed analyzing pharma brands trying to dissect the semantics.

Viagra for example... Virile, Vigor, Viable, Sta-min-a, etc.

Xanax? What's going on there? It sounds like a panic attack,, unpleasant to read.. it's symmetrical.. i'm stuck.

Anyway it's about time we went ahead and branded some of these newer (and older) RC's released to market.
If not for fun, then for harm reduction purposes. Some of them are a mouthful, & the flubroma- situation is unfortunate.
One wildly potent & fast acting, the other mega heavyweight low-ish potency with a verrry slow onset. Uhh which was which again..8)

  • Clonazolam
  • Diclazepam
  • Dechloroetizolam
  • Etizolam
  • Flubromazepam
  • Flubromazolam
  • Meclonazepam
  • Nifoxipam
  • Pyrazolam

Pick one and give it a brand name, show your working if you want.
Please someone sort the flubromazeoproblem :)

Nifoxipam - Somnafox

People like foxes! So I wanted to keep the fox..
Foxes have certain qualities people recognise,, cunning, agile, intelligent etc.

Somna' from 'somnambulant' meaning
Dictionary said:
1. : walking or having the habit of walking while asleep. 2. : resembling or having the characteristics of a sleepwalker : sluggish.

This one's a hypnotic for sure, in league with the likes of Nitrazepam in terms of hypnotic punch.
It needs a name that kinda sounds like it might just knock you the fuck out, like Mogadon :)

Bonus: I pinched the somna prefix from this song.

"You stare at me like I'm a vitamin
On the surface you hate,
but you know you need me.
I'll come dressed as any pill you deem fit.
Whatever helps you swallow truth
all the more easily."

-ax is a pretty common ending for sedatives - Mandrax (Methaqualone), Atarax (Hydroxyzine), Serax (Oxazepam), Psychopax (Diazepam)... Ataraxia roughly translates to "Tranquility", and "Pax" is "Peace", so it's kind of appropriate.
The "Xan-" could refer to "Xanadu" (Kublai Khan's paradise-like summer retreat) or simply "sanity".
Also, it's a palindrome, and palindromes are generally awesome.

P.S.: Love your username, it's just... metabolically bisturbile.

i wanna get Diclazepam but im worried it being lasting to long the half life after duration of effect And Or the Effects Are Going To Be A Let Down And Or I Get RIPPED OFF AND "CATTLE BURNED!" By Some Shady Website For My Hard Earned Cash Money, Er A.K.A. = Also Known As My Dubloons. SHH Hush Hush.... Be Quiet That Shit's Top Secret Son!

I'm gonna have a pop at some dosage equivalencies, from experience, but take with salt.. better than nothing

Comparable to 10mg Diazepam

  • Clonazolam 0.5mg
  • Diclazepam 1mg
  • Etizolam 0.8mg
  • Flubromazepam 7mg
  • Flubromazolam 0.4mg
  • Nifoxipam 6.5mg
  • Pyrazolam 1.5mg

It's weird, i've always found the word kind of unsettling & strange but also appealing somehow, fits the drug.

Haha i've heard Eti's Etsys,Tizzies, now Etzo's.. also "The Japanese ones"

I think i'm gonna proceed with Tizzies

Phenazepam should be called "a Forget me now" like Arrested Development.

Stuff was awesome. Laid on blotter, I could forget everything uncomfortable in my life for about $0.20 a day.
