Admin Attention My messages are magically disappearing?

Every time I post a new post I go down and back up a message. Is this normal?
 
Sorry this was happening this morning it’s not a problem anymore thanks for the concern
 
There appear to be delays in messages showing up, the function new posts clearly shows people have posted in a given thread, but click it and nothing shows. Took on average 5-10 minutes yesterday before I noticed they were actually there. Same thing happening now.
