Melb - Advent*Jah Festival - Saturday 11th December - Kryal Castle

One Last Dance…

In recent times we have seen our favourite venues come and go. We saw the likes of the Docklands, Global Village, Bertie St (to name a few) all give way to today’s demand on real estate. As they say, all good things do come to an end, and sadly, we see this happening with Kryal Castle. An institution, known worldwide for its amazing productions, Kryal Castle was everyone’s date with imagination. Who would have thought a castle would cause such a stir?

So we reach the final supper, the last dance in a venue that has seen almost 10 years of this fantastic dance culture. We sign it off with a bang…introducing, the Last Dance to Advent*jah…

Oracle Events proudly presents The Advent*jah Festival. After almost three months of negotiations with the Castle, they have decided to allow one more event, giving us the opportunity to farewell this great venue for all those memorable times it has given us. Our last event at the castle was supposed to be the final show, but after a dismal turnout, it certainly wasn’t the best way to say good bye. We all know this venue needs a massive farewell party and we made it our mission to land it one more time.

To explain how this is possible, the castle has not yet been sold due to a discrepancy with the potential buyer. Never the less, the Castle did not want to do anymore events. The negative feedback the media has given recent events at Melbourne Park, for instance, would be damaging to their reputation as a function centre. Although Kryal Castle is still on the market, we have secured this final show and we urge those who are skeptical to contact the castle in advance. This is not another ‘final event scam’. We have, infact, already secured an inner-city venue for next year's Advent*jah, but we all deserve one last dance. So join us, for the grand finale of Kryal Castle!
