Alright, so I use MDMA a lot. Way more than I should. I know you are supposed to take 3-5 week breaks and all but I honestly don't care. I love the euphoric happiness from MDMA. The way it makes me feel, like everything is okay in life. I feel amazing. Those who use it will understand.
Anyways, I am curious about how meth would feel? I like how MDMA makes me feel good about myself, it gives me some sort of euphoric confidence that I could never get being sober. I love the over all way it makes me feel. So how would meth be compared to MDMA?
I am planning on using it this weekend for the first time to see what its all about and if it would be worth replacing my almost weekly use of MDMA.
Basically what i am asking;
Will meth provide somewhat of the same Euphoric, happy, confident, amazing feeling that MDMA does? Everyone claims its better, but I cant picture anything getting better then MDMA? Anyways, if you have used both drugs, please try to explain the feeling of meth, and if it compares to MDMA

Please don't try to change my mind. I already know I have some problems, they will be addressed near the end of summer.

This is an interesting question that I used to wonder about myself. They are actually quite different although it’s hard to put into words. In a basic sense, MDMA is somewhat of an inebriated euphoria while meth is more of a sober euphoria. MDMA is also a very happy euphoria while meth is a very energetic euphoria with a sexual edge. On MDMA, I feel like I am on a drug, but while on meth, I feel like I am a spectacularly better version of myself. That’s part of the danger of meth – you feel surprisingly straight in a way that can only be described as perfect. It is so perfect and seems so harmlessly good that you feel like you could just keep doing it….and then it bites you in the ass.

You sound like me in that nothing could have stopped me from trying it, but be forewarned and please don’t take it lightly – meth is far more addictive than MDMA. It rewires the reward system in your brain and before you know it, you can’t stop thinking about it and will constantly think of reasons why you should do more or set yourself up in scenarios to facilitate its use. You will only avoid addiction if you have sufficient mental resources, and many people underestimate what it takes. Sorry if this sounds preachy but the internet is rife with stories of regret from people who wish they’d never tried it. All the best…..

A few years ago I was pretty bad with MDMA rolling 1 to 2 times a weak, on strong clean pressed pills. I quit after awhile cuz the comedowns for bad and I depleted my serotonin to often. The magic was gone. 6 months after I quit I tried meth for the first time and I loved it. It reminded me of MDMA, the euphoric feeling was very similar, very social, but more speedy than MDMA, and last longer, and it doesn't take nearly as long for your dopamine levels to return to normal as opposed to serotonin. There's more side effects with meth and can make you look like shit real quick if you don't take care of yourself while tweaking. But overall I think meth has the slight edge.

Methamphetamine and MDMA have very different highs, MDMA is much more, I don't know, a drug for getting fucked up on. Methamphetamine is still euphoric but is pretty much exclusively a stimulant alone. And it's probably 3 to 10 times more potent by weight than MDMA depending on how youmeasure the effects and the specific doses in question. What I do know is 100mg of methamphetamine will be way more powerfully stimulating than 100mg of MDMA but much less outright pleasurable in a sensory way (and will probably result in you having an insane crash).

Methamphetamine is generally judged to be much more neurotoxic than MDMA. With MDMA the sonsensus is reasonable doses, less than about 200mg a 'session' are quite recobverable. But with an equivalent weight dosage of d-methamphetamine, monkey or rat brains have visible toxicity. There's certainly an argument to be made for sticking to MDMA over meth.

Just a heads up, even tho u dont care, you should leave 3 month breaks between mdma use so your serotonin can restore.

If you keep it up very soon u will lose interst in everything, depression, you will get paranoide (u think people talk behind your back), you might get aspergers syndrome, flashes in your vision, sleep paralysis etc etc etc.

and the worst thing MDMA wont do anything anymore for you, ever. Another benefit of those breaks is that everytime you use MDMA it will feel magical. I know this is not your question but I feel worried for you (google mdma abuse)

OT: Amphetamines wont get you fucked up but it will give you alot of energy combined with the unability to sleep... it is perfect if you wanna go hard for 3 days without sleep but its a filthy and very addictive drug.

I agree with sekio that MDMA is better for you... If you take it with the required breaks inbetween. You will only feel the damage it has done when it is too late, remember that.

Meth is a selfish drug while MDMA is empathetic. Besides that I find them similar.

Just because MDMA contains "methamphetamine" in the name of the chemical doesn't mean its anything like it at all.

If you've got a problem with doing MDMA that frequently then I would steer clear of meth. Real talk.

Yeah those are some true words. Don't go down an extremely rocky road simply to keep chasing a certain high it wont end, Ive been there, and am there and its not fun. Meth is very very subtle in my opinion, MDMA is not subtle. That's what makes meth such a bitch because it tricks you into thinking it's hardly there if that makes any sense. Then come 3 days later you find yourself covered in filth and your hard drive is filled with porn and your boss is blowing your phone up wondering why you haven't been at work for 2 days.

Both are neurotoxic, MDMA especially if you use it a lot. I have seen this first hand with people I know who used MDMA/MDA frequently or who binged on it at times, got burnt out, and wound up depressed or anxious when they never were before, had to go on SSRIs, and had major memory issues.

The same thing happened to people I know who were into meth.

But as other people have said they are completely different drugs. I have never used either and personally do not want to.

Stay safe.
