I've been steeped in brine
And shaped from limestone
But I crackle in a heavy wind
And brace for the gust stroke

Can I step up with the gusto?
Or flee again, headstone enshrined
Caveman dreams and words of painted rock
Can't compete with my crackled limestone plate
