What does L-Dopa actually do?

Does it help restore Dopamine levels?

If so, at what dose?

I feel good when I take it. It’s hard to pinpoint tho. I get a little more energy and feel hornier.
I take it as mucuna pruriens capsules.

So it comes to around 120mg L-Dopa

Seems like there are a number of serious studies looking at murica pruriens as a treatment for Parkinsons and early trials suggest the plant preparations are at least as good as pharma processed versions.

Makes me wonder how good it might be for recovering tweakers.

I wouldn't mess too much with Mucuna Pruriens. It was one of the reasons I turned Schizophrenic.

L Dopa can aggravate schizophrenic symptoms in people with schizophrenia but it doesn’t turn you schizophrenic.

I take L-Tyrosine, which is a precursor to L-Dopa. I'm hoping to pretty much replace my psych meds with as many regular supplements as I can. It certainly helps me feel a bit better, especially if I'm taking it regularly.
