In retrospective we got the never-ending Loto Labs Evoke/Lux years-long mirage concluding with a piss-poor Dry Herb conductive/radiative delivery mode, then a much more decent IH-driver known as Dr. Dabber's Switch though still failing to offer the potential value to be expected from a susceptor, while being basically redistributed as oven walls instead... Each time done on a portable battery budget despite some obvious waste of energy which i believe can be trimmed down in future eventual yet-to-come DynaVap scenarios.
So here's how Egzoset envisions the quest for relatively satisfying portable KISS-style IH/Bi-Energy solutions:

M'well, i'm still currently performing a last few adjustments but that's plenty proof-of-concept to comment on today's DiY challenge anyway.
Not to mention my theory behind both layouts remains the same:

My LAVATube concept belongs to a KISS mentality indeed but there's a major trade-off coming with it: half of it irradiates energy outside - and that's the point where one might want to argue DynaVap's spiral path under a VapCap is just what it takes to "recycle" such heat lost for no good purpose otherwise. Even better, the simpler 2-parts coaxial structure (plus opt. screen) doesn't only displace hot metal surfaces away: it invites Full-Glass scenarios though at the cost of additional delays making it even more desirable to exploit "transitional" properties which emerge in "Micro-Bursting" mode. This allows a relatively slow/steady Pre-Heat (Charge Injection) cycle while providing a brief/dense energy "bubble" intended to target tiny features of a bowl's contact-surfaces (mainly trichomes)...
As a bonus pure analog Output Control (gained in previous Near-Symetrical LAVACapsule strategies) would remain compatible with such coaxial setup i believe. YMMV. Though i continue to view my VG-inspired Hybrid Core as one offering the most optimized energy budget, because it's structed to behave like a thermal bottle. Too bad it falls into the "Hot Dry Air" category in absence of clean-burning butane to generate Inlet Water, hence making it a lesser priority at least until i solved the PH problem recently.
Final goal(s) ain't changed significantly.
