recently saw an article by Herb promoting 'One Hour Relief', a Kava Kava spray for $30 a bottle, for use in help dealing with cannabis anxiety. obviously way overpriced as high grade kava kava powder is available as cheaply as half a pound for $30, but the idea stuck with me. as someone who gets paranoia and anxiety when smoking cannabis socially, and also gets extreme (social) anxiety from LSD (but no other psychedelic drugs apart from these two? interesting...) this could be very helpful.
so basically im interested as to you guys thoughts on this. perhaps kava kava wouldnt be as effective as taking benzoates in reducing anxiety when combined with other substances, but to avoid building a benzo addiction could kava kava be a good substitute? How inebriating is it when combined with weed? And does it actually help to reduce anxiety.
furthermore, what is kava kava like on its own? is it recreational at all? could it be a good alternative to alcohol for the nights out when sobriety is too boring, but drinking/rolling/tripping are too full on? what is its effect on axiety/sociability? and what kind of dosages would be required to acheive the desired effects?
