Hi everyone, well this weekend when i finish exams me and a friend have bought some cocaine that we are planning to take
both of us have taken speed and ecstasy many many times but never coke...
ive read on some drug awareness sites a bit about it so i sort of know what to expect, but id find it much more useful in terms i can relate to a bit more!
so i was just wondering, what will the first time i use it maybe be like, will i want to dance etc like a pill, should i drink lots of water, does it make you toey, is it easy to sleep after it, how long do the effects usually last etc etc!
your past experiences or opinions would be a lot more helpful than the info ive read so far i reckon

You'll just turn into a wanker and think you're pretty special for about half an hour to an hour (depending on how much coke you have).

Either way it will be fun.
 
(imho) coke is over rated. I come from the uk where I used to get it for around $100 a g and I still barely touched the stuff. Since coming to OZ I have learnt to appreciatiate meth (which again imho) is much better in terms of effect and value for money. However having said this each to there own. The only advice that I can give is make sure you have enough-a point will not do. A g between 2 people for a night is a minimum. They do not call this 'the drug of the rich' for nothing. Good luck
 
From a harm reduction point of view, cocaine and alcohol shouldn't be combined (although if you search Bluelight for cocaethylene you'll see that it can be a lot of fun). Aside from that, standard stimulant rules apply - stay hydrated, but not too much so, try not to stay awake for too long, eat something when you come down...all that jazz.

Otherwise, I'm personally a believer in not ruining the experience of a new drug by having too many preconceptions. Why don't you enjoy it for what it is, then start reading up on it afterwards? Cocaine is a pretty subtle drug and many people don't really "get it" the first time. And drugs are different for everyone.

Remember in Australia you're likely not getting pure coke - amphetamines are a common cut and of course, completely changes the experience and hence, the answers to your questions.
 
You might notice your face and tongue going a bit numb...Im REALLY not sure if this is a feature of cocaine or weird shit it gets cut with as I've done absolutely no research on it ever, but the few times I've tried it that was the most noticeable physical effect, numb tongue or in higher doses numb face.

You will probably feel very cool. Try not to harsh anybody out or act like an arrogant prick. Energy effects were not hugely pronounced for me. Much more subtle and chatty.

yea this is a feature of cocaine, it can be used as a local anesthetic as well as a stimulant. Sometimes if I have a line of good coke, I can feel half of my face go numb.


Personally on the rare occasion that I insufflate some coke, I like to have a few drinks before hand. A white spirit like vodka or gin or champagne go very well with coke. I dont find beer goes as well with it. I have like 3 or 4 drinks before I have a line and its partae! I know you shouldn't mix alcohol with drugs for harm minimisations sake but I find it brings the best out of the coke, more so then if I were to have it sober.

Yes it is over-rated and way too expensive in OZ but a lot of ppl prefer it then amps and mdxx as you dont feel half as bad the next day (dont find the emotional comedown either) and you should be able to get to sleep easier too.

I dont recommend it for a big dance club or rave as I find it doesn't connect you to the music that much. go to a nice bar and socialise would be better.
 
but surly for the purposes of socialising a few drinks (maybe a bit of speed) would be far more cost effective? Just my opinion mind you
 
^ cost isn't what we're discussing in this thread though it is hell expensive for what you get.
 
first time use of coke isnt that exciting.ur body doesnt no what it is and how to react to it, making you not notice much effect. wen u use it the 2nd or third time, ur body remembers the feeling it had the first time and thats wen u feel a difference. hope all of that made sense....good luck on ur exams...
 
speed > coke
in Australia at least it is to expensive, and the experience is to short lived.. i would rather masturbate for free.. lol

but try it none the less, you could enjoy it...

I find that relates to meth also that the first time you expect it to be something really wierd missing all the effects. When i first had dexies i didn't notice them because i just was ultra focused.

Hehe... well I've two experiences with coke so let me share. The first lot wasn't all that. It was a little like speed actually, got us talking, a little more confident but no real remarkable buzz.

The second time I tried it, however, it was way different. This time, we were in a group after a Saints & Sinners ball, a bunch of sexed-up, coked up horny mutherfuckers, and it worked a treat. I would do a line and then feel like I wanted to raid the girl whose house it was closet, and find the shortest most miniscule mini-skirt I could find, couple it with a pair of fuck-off high heel boots, and parade around topless in front of everyone. And... I did. =D

The coke made me feel adventurous, horny, excited, a little loved up and up for anything. Unfortunately it only lasted like 20 minutes and then you needed another line. Such is the downfall of coke.

My opinion? I wouldn't buy it again. Too expensive, not *quite* enough difference from speed or pills to justify the extra cash. But if it was put in front of me... fuck yeah, I'd hoover that shit up like I was an Electolux vaccum cleaner.
 
question - how many people do you know who have become addicted and how many have not?

addiction is the reason i will not try it. give me some numbers ppl.
 
I dont know anyone who has become addicted to it in Australia, primarily because of cost, availability and purity. But I have met a few people who were addicted to it overseas.

As much as the buzz isn't all the great, it does give you an awful feeling of need for some more like every 20minutes. But if you can manage to survive 2days - a week after having some you'll pretty much not crave it at all. In fact, you'll be wondering how you managed to blow so much money on such a crappy drug in such a little amount of time.

You'll need to be close to the source/importer or fairly cashed up to worry about becoming addicted the quality* coke you generally find in Australia:)

A saying i have read somewhere not sure where is the main thing coke helps u with is getting rid of lots of money:D wish i could have n uf money to get rid of on it hehe
