"Music is critical to my existence"

James Halpin appreciates and studies all forms of music for their mind altering and intoxicating properties. He's honed in on electronic music as the most effective and universal modern sound to accomplish this. With influences ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to The Doors to The Chemical Brothers, his goal is to create a communal experience stimulated by music.

His sound explores the deeper and more intricate aspects of electronic music and has been described as adaptive, liquid, and provocative.
Venues he's performed at include Solas, Label Lounge, Grotto, Hotel on Rivington, Hacienda, Recoup Lounge, Club Love, Pacha, Sullivan Room and Lazarza.

Tim Robert is a musician whose great love of music has led him from rock songwriting & performance to dance music production and DJing. Tim's early musical career was spent touring and recording with Boston-based rock bands. After moving to NYC to write music for theater, Tim discovered electronic music through underground dance clubs. Thrilled by the power, energy and musical adventurousness of progressive house and trance, Tim began studying production and started DJing live.

In late 2010, Mistique Music released Tim's debut original track "Panodrama". In 2012, Tim's original track "Launch Angle" and two of his remixes appeared on LuPS Records. This past March, Tim's remix of Loquai's "Back Home" landed on Beatport's "10 Must Hear Progressive House Tracks" list. Summer 2013 will see the release of more tracks and remixes by Tim on Jetlag Digital and LuPS Records. As a live DJ, Tim has appeared at venues such as Love, the Open House basement, the Pacha basement and the Sapphire Lounge. His style ranges from darkly hypnotic to intensely grooving, and is firmly focused on moving the dancefloor.

A classically trained musician since four, Seth started his musical career with the violin and toured internationally with the Lehigh University Philharmonic while finishing high school. Early inspiration from Boards of Canada, Tangerine Dream and Thom Yorke led him into electronic music that today manifests itself as deep house and techno with warm, organic sound that captures his background and is further inspired by the influential sound of artists like Hunter/Game and Guy Gerber.

Established in 2010 by techno veterans and old friends Kent Friedman and Hugh Sharpe, the fundamental mission of Silicon Syndicate is world domination via the production and global distribution of high quality, highly-addictive electronic dance music.

With almost two decades' experience in the North American psychedelic trance music scene and a deep and profound love for electronic music spanning back to their childhoods, Kent and Hugh fill their tracks with the finest elements of classic 80s rhythms and analog synthesis using the very latest in 21st century studio production technology with the singular aim of filling the world with happy, dancing people.

As the anniversary of their first worldwide EP release approaches, join Silicon Syndicate for a special debut live performance consisting of two distinct sets over the course of the night. With six EPs and five remixes already released in this first year and seven straight months of studio work behind them in 2013, the Syndicate has a vast catalog from which to dig and the means and motivation with which to deploy it.
